Hi, I’m Karen Maya 🌸
I’m the founder of Bloom Arts & Language, a homeschool mom of two, and a former jewelry designer with 30+ years of experience in the creative industry.
But what I love most is working with children and watching that moment when they realize, “I can do this!”
For the past several years, I’ve had the joy of teaching children through jewelry, art, geography, and culture. I created Bloom to give kids something I deeply believe in: the opportunity to learn by doing, explore without pressure, and build confidence along the way.
My classes are intentionally small, personal, and hands-on. I want every child to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, trying something new, and discovering what they’re capable of.
More than anything, I want your child to leave my class happy, proud, and already looking forward to coming back.

Your questions, answered.
Do children need prior experience?
Not at all. Bloom classes are designed for beginners and guide each child step by step.
How do I register?
Choose a class and location, complete the family details, then select Zelle or Step Up. Your child is registered immediately, and payment is due by the first class.
Do you accept Step Up scholarships?
Yes. Choose Step Up during registration and Bloom will show the correct provider-marketplace instructions.
Can Bloom add new locations?
Yes. New venues and sessions can be added as the program grows.

Bloom is a Step Up For Students Direct Provider.
Eligible families can find Bloom Arts and Language Enrichment Programs in the Step Up marketplace and use scholarship funds for qualifying classes.
